Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

'Get It Done'

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Nice twist with the suicide.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This is fun!

Also, "lurk much?" Just like Buffy!

hip deep in pie

In Canada, "Viewer discretion is Strongly advised."

I was sitting there thinking, "These sped up scenes of LA. I've seen this somewhere before. Where?"

...duh!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Also, "lurk much?" Just like Buffy!

So, Tim's reusing stuff from his old Buffy scripts?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I don't know if it's my ears, or the sound for the show, but more of the dialogue is muddy sounding than I like. I'm missing some of the better snark.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm going to hazard a guess that one reason Web will be bringing in Rachael's character so quickly on this investigation is he wants someone not personally attached to Alvarez to to provide perspective.

Matt gets a cookie.

"What do you have that he needs?"
"A conscience."

So I'm already finding Web's outfit interesting, in that why does it exist? How did he get this apparent autonomy?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"These sped up scenes of LA. I've seen this somewhere before. Where?"

snerk

Thrive to spite them

I liked the way the bipolar aspect was handled. I got my back up at first (but that's a knee jerk reaction of -- what you are you doing to my illnees?) but it was handled well.

I'm really love AB.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

I also immediately thought "Buffy" when I heard "lurk much?"

So far, so good! It's definitely caught my attention. And it was great seeing "Tim Minear" on my screen again (several times!). And Jane Espenson, too.

This is what I'm thinking.
