I can't even.

Tim, we need a new roof, and would really love central air. The kids have allergies, you know. You'll take care of it, yes?

Won't the insurance on Scott cover all that? Oh wait, can you get insured for a fictional horrible death? Lloyd's of London, maybe?

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I need Tim to grade this stack of papers.

What?

What is even happening?

Give them all As, Kristin. What are they doing to do, fire you?

The evil is this way?

Wait. So if you need Tim to do something, you just have to post it here.

Fine. Tim, send me all your money.

Do I have to send you a dollar or something now, to put you on retainer?

This would be wise, Topic!Cindy. Of course, you should send me all your money, anyway. By the by, recently it was Narrator!Niece’s older brother’s graduation from junior high. His aunts (including me) got him an iPod and some accessories. Narrator!Niece watches him open the gifts and then reminds me that HER birthday will be soon and I should get her a present -- high heel shoes. I told her no, since she will still only be 6 on her birthday and those are not appropriate for her age. She was unhappy that her plan to acquire such shoes was thwarted. (Her mom already said no; I was her backup plan.) She is considering alternative items.

Would her mom allow her to have costume shoes? Sometimes, in the costume section of Toys R Us, and the like, you can get high heel "dress-up" costume-y shoes that aren't actually high:

If she would be satisfied by these (and I realize there is a good chance she would not *g*), perhaps you could represent her, and cut a deal with her mom, that they'll only be worn when playing dress-up. Goodness, you are an auntie, not a mom.

My little Princess is currently FURIOUS with me, because I've kept her home from school for the second day, running. Apparently, I am *UNFAIR* in holding the conviction that fever = no school. Her younger brother is much more reasonable. Her older brother is glad to be away from the two of them, either way.

cereal...

There's a chance those shoes will be too small. I wouldn't recommend buying them online, but if you have a good toy store or costume shop handy, it mightn't hurt to check what's in stock that might fit, and satisfy all parties. ijs

There are also seriously negative reviews of BATMAN BEGINS and MR. AND MRS. SMITH, but Denby's always been a bit of a prig: [link]

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Interview with Tim here;

Lameness is involved on my part, unfortunately, but I am struggling to be creative today. It's designed to be quick fire questions so people actually read it, but not too much to bore people. Spike interest, is the idea - I'm hoping it gets on Buffy.nu, and so ends up all over the Internerd for Wednesday.

I can't type the word 'Spike' without thinking of a shaved-headed James Marsters now. I'm not sure what this means, but I am worried.

Those are some cute shoes. Also, much pink.

Apparently, I am *UNFAIR*

Well, you're a mom, so you have black belt in being *UNFAIR*.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Nicely done, Kevin (oh, and Tim).

BTW, Tim, could you fix my air conditioning today? Ta ever so.

Signed, Seriously considering buying a 7 lb bag of ice and using it in place of my desk chair.

Maybe a 20 lb bag.
