The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey Cindy, meet Scott

That's so cool.

I may have to seize the cat.

Hi. I disappeared from this thread. But now I am all "Oh, The Inside!"-y, because Tim, and Baldwin, and procedural drama, and it's summer, and WHEEEE! Plus Wednesday is not D&D night, so I could even theoretically watch it when it airs rather than recorded.

This summer is the summer of teevee, as I plan to recruit folks to Alias and Veronica Mars (but not Lost, Lost will have to go on without me - I think it will manage, somehow). And of course, The Inside, which will be easier because Tim, and not so much catching up to do.

Since my boyfriend and Tim are secretly the same person (really - have YOU ever seen them both in the same place at the same time?) I think I can convince my boyfriend to watch it, too. (I just deleted my whole explanation of why they are the same person. I realized I'm the only one who would find it funny.)

And lastly, to make this post truly Timmy, my family is getting a beagle. And I, naturally, thought of Tim. Because.... beagle. She's very cute! You can see her here.

Swouncing

Tim!

It's nearly 2am here. I'm still working. At least I get to wave hello to you from my tired timezone.

[Edit: or, well. not. I'be been whining all evening night, why stop now?]

If I only had a brain...

So. Things that make one think of Tim:

  • Beagles
  • Horrible, flaming, agonizing death.

One of these things is not like the other.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It's all about balance, Betsy.

I may have to seize the cat.

I don't know. I'm sure we could successfully combine beagles and aforementioned death. Monster zombie serial-killer beagles. Yeeeessss.

eta: just watched the promos. Thanks to Kristen & D for getting them online... I don't watch much Fox (shock!) and thus had only seen the first of the two short ones. Buffistas are the coolest kind of people.

eta mark 2: if there are any Trianglistas about, I might be up for group viewage. I will be newly back in town after leaving this no-Starbucks town behind....

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So. Things that make one think of Tim:

  • Smoky lounges with 40s-esque torch singers crooning some jazz song about heartache
  • obscenely expensive german cars
  • 80s indie rock
  • Marlboro Lights
