[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Ah. I guess the marketing engines have not caught up with the multiple seasons concept. Thanks, ita.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think the sponsors have caught up. The upfronts are basically teasers for sweeps which set the prices. They don't care as much, I reckon, about June and July.

The Inside was pimped during tonight's special 90-minute The Shield written by Liz Craft & Sarah Fain. It was the promo featuring FOX Voice-Over Guy. Only 15 more days, people!

Is The Inside limited run? I got the general impression it was at least a 13-weeker.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The order's for thirteen eps, yeah.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is The Inside limited run?

I don't understand the question. You mean like Monk or Queer As Folk with a 13 episode season?

Thanks for clearing that up. It is not like a mini-series, is what I was wondering.

No, not at all. It's just like any other series pretty much. They ordered 13 episodes, if it does well in the ratings, they'll order the back nine.

I don't think the sponsors have caught up.

Technically, the show was promoted to potential advertisers at last year's upfronts. Granted, it was the old show and it was as a mid-season replacement.

I did notice that there didn't seem to be as much of FOX's year-round programming rhetoric coming from this year's upfront presentation.

In unrelated news, can someone explain to me why people name their local electric chairs?
