Here ya go, Kristen
And thanks! The promos looked great.
(All of the files are Divx AVIs with MP3 sound. I cropped them to 16:9 format so that the actual shots from the show don't have black bars, though that cut parts of the beginning and end shots. If you want me to make 4:3 versions I can, but I think these look better.)
Betsy's right. I keeel you if you keep beating yourself up!
... oh, wait, that came out wrong.
I think I walked into with these skills which made things easier.
Back to Betsy's question: yes. I had a lot of trouble working on the campaign, in part related to the distributed nature of authority, and the inability to make anyone do anything. I had skills that I couldn't put to use, and that frustrated the hell out of me. I'm a control freak and a project manager, and it was crazy-making that I couldn't just make things happen.
I also learned that I'm more of an attention ho than I realized: that being on the strategy team was a source of great pride to me. More than it should have been, really, given the amount I actually produced. I liked having my name be known outside the (somewhat limited) fic-reading community. I liked having people pay attention to what I had to say, and do things because I said to.
It's embarrassing. But it's good to know that about myself.
On the other hand, I made a few good friends, including one of the writers on the show. It's possible I might have met him anyway, but I doubt it. And he and his wife are actually friends, and marvelous human beings, and we can talk about lots of things which are not related to television. (And he gives me endless shit about ficwriting. *g*)

Eh. I wouldn't be writing a book if I wasn't so egomaniacal as to believe that of course people will read me.
Also, I am really very cute.
And will be cuter, after a much needed trip to Frenchy's to get a new hairdo.
You are very cute, this is true.
I think I want this hairdo.
I think I want this hairdo.
It would look better on you than on her, too.
(But, I think you're more attractive in person than she is, though she films beautifully.)
Promo! With Fox Narrator Man narration. (We haven't had that yet, have we? Or, I haven't anyway.) During 24.
"... forged in pain..." I'll bet.
I caught *two* different promos for The Inside during tonight's 24. I'm excited.
I'm such a slacker; I only noticed one. Well, there's always the tape.

Yep, haven't seen that one before.
And they did the "break on through" one later in the episode. And announced the date.
"The year's best thriller isn't in theaters...."
