[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Swouncing

"the feel-good dead baby episode of the season"

As long as there's something that doesn't make me think just "this show will be too dark for vanilla me and everybody else will be in love with it but me because I'm too vanilla", I'm OK with it.

[Edit: yeah, I'm enough of a geek to think that about shows I wouldn't get to watch with Americans on real time, so what?]

Oh my god. Animals should rise up against their owners who dress them and take over.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Good thing I don't have a pet right now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And is it wrong that I told TV Guide that episode nine was "the feel-good dead baby episode of the season"?

Are there dead baby jokes? Perhaps involving pitchforks and/or blenders?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was thinking that 22 episodes uninterrupted takes us to October. And so, Veronica Mars may not be affected if it starts then.

Ah, well that tells me something I hadn't heard (or had skimmed) - I still wasn't sure if it was 13 or 22 episodes.

My concern wasn't so much for this year as in the future (as I said in my second post, thinking optimistically). Of course, every show could have moved again by then, so it's nothing I'm actively worried about, I was just annoyed that yet another show was being moved to Weds @ 9. Given that I pretty much only watch shows on 3 of the networks at this point, having 3 of the shows I'm interested in go in the same time slot is beyond disconcerting. Wasn't really trying to shout "Fire!" or anything, just venting a little annoyance.

However, I think VM did start in September this year, so if it does so again and if The Inside has 22 eps coming, that becomes a thing to deal with (and, of course, VM and LOST are already a thing - not an item, though, I hope).

Anyway, moving on...

Amber Benson is indeed great. As is Tim for casting her. People suck, however. Except for the ones who don't.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'll tell you what is amazing -- Amber Benson.

And her character has a gorgeous name. There should be a song.

Does she sing?

If that's wrong, I don't want....to finish that particualar statement in the usual fashion, even if that's what I thought.

Hmmm, I smell a shout-out.
