The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It's at The Futon Critic. It's not picked up. Yet.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I sure as hell hope it isn't. Why would FOX have both that and The Inside? In case one fails? Way to make sure one of them does!

Eh. They bought the idea back in the fall. When The Inside was still 21 Jump Street.

They had a talent deal with Johnny Messner so they had to put him in something. Why not stick him with the dude who has the shiny CSI credit?

As long as The Inside premieres first, I don't much care.

Of course, this could all be moot come next Thursday.

ETA: Or maybe FOX will just buy all the procedurals on their slate and change their name to CBS since CBS is going to change their name to JBS -- Jerry Bruckheimer's Sandbox.

Ah, crap. Deals, schmeals. I want The Inside. Accept no substitutes.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

DEVIANT BEHAVIOR: Charged with the responsibility of solving San Francisco’s most bizarre and twisted crimes, Detective Graham Hale (Johnny Messner, C) and detective Rachel Lyford (Marguerite Moreau, R) are partnered to head up SFPD’s Deviant Crime Unit in the new one-hour drama DEVIANT BEHAVIOR premiering on FOX. sounds like L&O Special Victims Unit to me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yep, Vortex, that's what I thought. It'll be just another scenery-chewing parade of gross misconduct.

Cool. Nice pics. Although the names "Danny Love" and "Melody Sim" are cracking me up for some reason.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I think "Agent: Danny Love" has spin off potential, if it was set in the 60's or 70's.

Per-zactly. While "Melody Sim" makes think of THE SIMS.
