I wanna hurt you, but I can't resist the sinister attraction of your cold and muscular body!

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh dear. I just rewatched Brass Monkey, and it makes me verra happy.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh dear. I just rewatched Brass Monkey, and it makes me verra happy.

That's the one with another name, right?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's the one with another name, right?

Yeah, but I hope it's officially "Brass Monkey" on the DVDs, so I can have the pleasure of responding, "That funky monkey!" every time.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

There have been a few tunes written to set "Green Hills of Earth" to music in the filk community.Probably not any available on tape or CD, due to rights difficulties...

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I think a lot of the people who dislike him have spent a lot of time posting about not liking him. That is not the same as universally disliked.

I had posted nearly universally disliked. And afterward I allowed as how not all of his work was terrible. Just some of it. Still, I will grant that I may have been intemperate in my language. I will attempt to modify this in the future, but make no guarantees of success. (Really wanting to put a smiley here, even as an adult, but I forbear.)

Huh. No one called me and Kristen to do commentary on Safety Canary. How odd.

It must have been an oversight.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm still smarting from Mutant Enemy not asking me to provide commentary on "Provider" or "Tomorrow" for the 3rd season Angel DVDs. ;-)

Look Ma, they didn't need special effects to make that man's head explode!

All is well that ends in pizza.

I think a lot of the people who dislike him have spent a lot of time posting about not liking him. That is not the same as universally disliked.

I had posted nearly universally disliked.

I'm sorry, but the qualifier "nearly" does not alter my statement.

Whether it is true or not, I simply was trying to point out that loud protest does not constitute a universal (or nearly) constant.

The statisticians support me in lurking.

Hey. New board.

The statisticians support me in lurking.

Ooh! Can we use a T-test!? Can we? Can we? Can we?
