Book: Where's the doctor? Not back yet? Zoe: (beat) We don't make him hurry for the little stuff. He'll be along. Book: He could hurry... a little.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You had me at "Tim", but yeah, Allyson, everything you say about the show makes me more excited to see it.

Am I the only person in the world who wasn't particularly creeped out by Home? I thought how awful it must be to have no limbs and live under a dusty bed. Poor Mrs. Peacock. She did the best she could.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It's pretty much unGoogleable, though.

I've been doing: "The Inside" Minear

Or, "The Inside" FOX (useless)

A few times, I did: "The Inside" Allyson Minear (which gave me the wiggins)

So I changed it to Allyson "The Inside" Minear

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But if you include the name, you don't get to see if people who don't know his name are talking about it. Googling "Veronica Mars" gets 260,000 hits. Googling "Veronica Mars" "Rob Thomas" gets you under a thousand.

damnit. That's true. what about, "The Inside on Fox"?

"new show (series) The Inside"?

I think this is the only place with "buzz."

Hmmm. Your Buzz May Vary I guess.

If you Google "The Inside" Tim Minear there's a helluva lot of results... and the majority seem to feature information that as far as I'm aware surfaced her first.

Also, I was pleasantly shocked that when the news of Fury leaving Lost broke, many of my internet-buddies seemed to already know about The Inside and the majority of them don't lurk here...

Unless you count FauxTim at CHUD, the site with the many popups for dating services.

I'm not sure should count CHUD. The name itself makes be cringe.

Bless FauxTim. he needs to get out more.

Edited: To say that its REALLY spooky that while I was typing this post people started Google talk. YSpookyMV.

Heheh. I did "The Inside" FOX and got this at the top of the results. Lovely Fall 2004 schedule information on the *original* version of the show.

I'd have thought they might have taken that down by now. Confusing much?

Yeah, that version is still up at TVTome, driving me batshit.

I want to write up the new premise and send it out as a freakin' press release.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Can't Tim just give you a title? Director of Street Marketing or some shit?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That would be so great. DSM.

Nope. And I wouldn't work for Tim, anyway. Working for friends never goes well. Not worth it.
