Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The kidnapping was Jane E.'s contribution, and she is very proud of it. That's pretty much the only spoiler-y stuff I know, and I only know it because she was so tickled to have come up with the idea and that Tim dug it that she wanted to share that fact!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I love it. And you say she has a pink kitchen?

Kristen - May 02, 2005 9:59:46 am PDT #6365 of 10001

There is no pink kitchen!

(No matter how much Allyson might wish otherwise.)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

And you say she has a pink kitchen?

I wish. I got hollered at. "It's not about pink kitchens and fluffy dogs!"

"Blah! BLAH BLAH BLAH!"

I still think when she gets around to painting her place, the kitchen will be pink. And that she'd of course have a big English Mastiff. And his name would be Bill. But he wouldn't have any primordial mysogyny. Because that's DUMB.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I suspect The Inside will be exactly the kind of show I can't not watch, but exactly the kind of show that will make me curse my weakness during the ensuing 3 a.m. insomniac existential crisisathon.

or the kind of show that you watch because it's so good, but it creeps you out at night so that you can't sleep, ut you can't not watch it.

heh. He had you all at "Hello" in the first place.

I need to go out to the net and recruit. But I'm too lazy.

Hey! LURKERS! You there. Come on out and tell me if you're convinced. You gonna watch? Buy the lunchbox? Why or why not?

Maybe only Tim can make the lurkers come out and post.

What a lame superpower.

I wonder if he's foiled by yellow.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wonder if he's foiled by yellow.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's already foiled by Fridays.

My tagline and life are a work in progress.

Hey! LURKERS! You there. Come on out and tell me if you're convinced. You gonna watch? Buy the lunchbox? Why or why not?

Heh. Delurking long enough to say that I was a little worried about the creepiness factor (not a big fan of the real-world creepy) but your description of Rebecca as blank slate helped a lot. Of course, Tim had me at hello, too. At least for the first few episodes. But now I'm thinking it might last longer than that.

So your descriptions do help, not just confuse. (And when they do confuse, it's in that intriguing "I gotta wait how long to see what she means?" way.)
