The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Okay, a) not the way it happened. And b) I didn't say it on the internet first.

The cracked out ideas I think we should DO are only shared in private.

how does Rachel's portrayal of her character strike you?

Matt, I haven't seen much yet. Just parts of the one scene in Web's office and some screenshots of other stuff.

Lorelei Gilmore/Det. Olivia Benson/Irina Derevko/Gracie Hart

I'm holding on to that until proven so very horribly wrong.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As long as there's no extra dramatical staring into space like in Profiler, I'm good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That wasn't staring into space, Jesse. It was the contemplation of McMahon's hottieness. Very crucial.

It wasn't EVEN. It all would have made sense if she had been looking at him, but no. She'd be looking, like, at the outside of the building where the people were buried in the basement and get all bug eyed and starey.

I'm reading a seriel killer book right now, and if we can avoid killers who bite their dead vics, that'd be great.

oh and lead girl lady whose name I forget - in my head she has a no-nonsence pantsuit work wardrobe, but the shoes are ridiculous.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Having never seen more than one or two episodes of X Files ever, and certainly not the one y'all are talking about, my brain is having a very disturbing time trying to reconstruct what it might have been using your semi-cryptic discussions. So, um, I don't suppose there's a shooting script or transcript floating around someplace?

Allyson is beginning to frighten me. I suspect The Inside will be exactly the kind of show I can't not watch, but exactly the kind of show that will make me curse my weakness during the ensuing 3 a.m. insomniac existential crisisathon.
