Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I saw the promo! It came after Family Guy. Once again, Promo Guy has a weird pronunciation. This show is The Inside. Okay, I know the stress is normally on the first syllable, but his stress is excessive.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

What a shame. She had such nice hair.

Yeah, but that pink kitchen...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I saw the promo, and felt very happy, despite a somewhat middling episode of Family Guy (some good bits, but nothing classic, and a lot less focused/sharp than the episodes of the show's previous run).

Soon! Soon! Right?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

God, I hope so.

It kinda had a "Dark Profiler" vibe from the promo. I was, however, pleased to _see_ a promo, it makes it seem like it's going to happen. With Fox, you never know.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm digging that they are putting the promos up before there's even a date, on shows that will attract the audience for The Inside.

I do think the show is not for everyone.

The scripts read like hard-boiled mystery, they're rich and have good crunchy bits. I do think while it will attract a large audience, there's a level of gore that could be Too Much for a lot of Buffistas.

Remember that X-Files ep, I think called Home? With the brothers and the mother under the bed? Crawling up under your skin and giving you the willies? That about sums it all up.

The thing about Buffy and Angel is that the otherworldly creatures were metaphors for the real world monsters in The Inside. So there's not that latex make-up buffer between fantasy and reality that makes it all a little safer.

I do hope they put out a script book of the series. It's a fantastic read.

Oooh! I'd like to add that as a request for the site. A few script pages for an upcoming episode or something, along with a sort of DVD extra style interview of a minute or two with Tim or Craig talking about how the story was developed.

For myself, I would like a poster and a press kit. Who can make that happen for me?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh lord. That was the first episode of television I ever knew the title of, because it was so fucking creepy I had to keep talking about it!! If it's that creepy, that's too creepy.

You must promise to watch the pilot, though, Jesse.

hip deep in pie

That was my favourite episode of the X-files. It was sick and perverse, and I loved it for being on my TV!
