I'm not sure there's anything a cast member can say pre-show that would intrigue me. During the show is different.
That is the sound of ultimate unhelpfulness. Betsy makes it now.
Xander ,'End of Days'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

This is why I haven't got anything either. I mean, Tim, yeah, I can think of questions for him, but outside of meta stuff that's not anything I'd really want to ask the actors (like whether Adam and Peter have had any interesting political discussions) I got nothing for the cast.
You could ask Katie and Adam who wins the fight over who was on the best Minear show previous to this one. Also if they used thumb wars to decide.
The only thing I can think of is, was it a big adjustment for Katie going from working on a show with Tim that was full of whimsy and comedy to one that's as dark as The Inside appears to be?

She probably keeps a sharp eye out for ambulances.

Good one! Ask this one.
Also, ask Katie if she can sneak a brass monkey into the set decorations.
Ask them what they each find personally interesting about their characters. Also, what they think makes this show unique. Also ask AB if he will take his shirt off at least once per show. (Okay, maybe that last one is a tad inappropriate)

I, too, like this one.
I got the noir from the promo in spades, but not the whimsy. It was too short. I wanted more.
No whimsy.
Thanks for the question ideas. That gives me a good place to start from.
And now I'm wondering if, somehow, Allyson and I have been pimping badly. This is not a whimsical, funny show. It's dark and suspenseful and people die a lot. There's a also a healthy dose of moral ambiguity here and there. (Please note: This would be the standard definition of moral ambiguity, not the Allyson definition.)
It's not, however, "funny." There are some lighter moments now and then and, of course, there's plenty of gallows humor. But given the subject matter it deals with, I would say it's darker than Angel, darker than Firefly and at the opposite spectrum from Wonderfalls.
And, when measuring funny, please keep in mind that I find the story of the spree murderer who used to drop his false teeth in other people's drinks, because he didn't want to pay to buy drinks for himself, hilarious.
