So, hey, any news on The Inside?
(semi-x-post to Minearverse)
I just randomly stumbled across a location shoot for The Inside of all things. Of course given that Sod's Law seems to be follow me even transatlantically, I managed to get one pic... then my camera film ran out! Might have to wander back that way later in case they're still there. Mainly interior, but a nice public warning to beware oif loud flashes and bangs, so could be (have been) exciting.
Will post more specifics when I'm back in the UK on a non-dollar-eating computer. :)
So OOOH! I got to watch a little bit of The Inside being filmed last night on location in Hollywood.
Not a great deal to tell, but it I felt like a total fanboy, despite my actually being very calm and collected. There will be no pics though, because flash photography would have made the large FOX people very angry.
Talked to one guy who seemed amazed that anyone (let alone British Persons!) had even heard of the show (given that it is yet to air), nevermind know that it's a Tim Minear project. Dude said I should probably keep an eye on Tim's cool website for information on airdates... another example of how much Kristen rocks!
Flying back home later today , and given today's LA sunshine, I don't wanna go!!!!
You know what I was thinking last night? I'm gonna be real sad if Television Without Pity puts somebody crappy on recaps for The Inside.
They should pay Allyson to do it freelance style, that's all I'm saying. Funny, well-written, and by somebody who loves the show: that's the way recaps should be.
I'm not sure that I can be snarky about the inside (or whatever it's going to be called, that seems to be back up in the air again). My heart is too attached. And my face.
Based on Couch Baron's VM recaps, and how much they seem to be loved, not that much snark is required. He loves the show too much to snark about it with great skill. Mostly, he just talks about the HoYay in clever ways, which seems to satisfy the "without pity" part.
I wouldn't Allyson doing TWOP recaps on my show. Then I'd have to read them. I'm conflicted.

Am I allowed to think The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is about thirty minutes too long?
Okay, now that's a reasonable argument. But would that be bad, if they were good? And I can't imagine they wouldn't be.
By the way, not much I can report officially yet, but did have a big meeting with Peter Liguori, the new president of the Fox network. He's really digging the show, which is a good. I can hint that you'll probably be seeing it sooner rather than later, and that Peter talked about how he launced Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me in off months. if we do go up this summer, don't expect it to look like a Fox burnoff. And also don't set your Tivo for Friday nights -- I'm told Friday is out. More later when I know the specifics.
