[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Tim had a vicious fight with Allyson, and we were all averting our gazes.

Hm. I think that may have actually happened.

then we started walking to the set and Tim had a vicious fight with Allyson, and we were all averting our gazes.

Replace 'vicious fight' with 'heated debate' and you're not wrong.

If I only had a brain...

I don't really see the seperation between fandom and friendships offline.

Many of my friends do, but I don't. Online friendships have kept me sane, especially when (as far as I knew) my husband and I were the only people like us in Charlotte, NC.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

And then I killed the thread.

Almost as if it had been scripted by Tim.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I guess I still make a distinction between the LAistas and other Buffistas, because I have more of a chance to interact with the former outside of the computer, but there really isn't any separation between the friends I have in LA because of the board and friends I made other ways. All of the people I visited on my trip last week are still Buffy board people, but ita, Kat and Aimee aren't.

That doesn't meean Deena (for example) means less to me than ita (also for example), it just means I think about them differently.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Hmm. Obviously, I hang out with LAistas more than other Buffistas, and yet, I still think of you all as "Buffy friends." Interesting. Maybe because when I explain where I was, sometimes I have to make it clear that my Buffy friends are older, so I still make the differentiation. If I say I went to my friend's baby shower, or I was so disappointed I didn't get to go to another set of friends' wedding, a lot of people look at me a little funny until I mention that those friends are not 19, for instance.

[insert something funny here]

Argh! *headdesk*

So I typey typed a post.

Then I pressed the big "OK" button insetad of "Post Message" and it skipped me back to Jan 1st and ate all my lovely words.

I am an idiot.

My Evil Hand issues may prevent me from re-typing (if my brain can even remember all I was saying) so just imagine that I posted something really cool and witty yet thoughtful. Or something.

ETA: And now two more annoying things just happened to my computer.

It hates me.
