'Lies My Parents Told Me'

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks, Betsy!

I wonder if Tim is out shopping for a pony for me RIGHT NOW!

Or maybe he's writing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooh. Happy birthday, Allyson.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Happy birthday, Allyson! I'm sure Tim is delivering the severed head of a pony to your apartment as we speak.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Felicitations on the anniversary of your natal day, Allyson! Wishing you many more happy birthdays to come.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Cranberry, or any of the other savewonderfalls forum people: I was guest reading through the forums for music information (and by the way I wish to tardily thank the Buffista who pointed me to the Michelle Featherstone Stay information earlier). I read through all 9 pages and it looks like no one ever found out who sang the song after the opening credits in Wound Up Penguin. In case anyone is interested (including the guy who has the imix listing), it's Under Your Spell by Ana Victoria.

Can't seem to stop watching my dvds today.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy Birthday Allyson!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Very happy birthday to you Allyson. You are deserving of all kinds of indulgence and treats.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

Thanks, d. I'll let the posters know.

Happy birthday, Allyson!

I fought the law and I won!

So, today is your birthday? That's what I've been told. Did Minear send a bouquet? If he didn't, that's cold. On your cake there'll be candles. All lighted, it's true. While the whole world is singing. Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you! Keep pimping The Inside's debut. Happy birthday Queen Allyson. And you're super pretty too.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Happy Birthday, Allyson.
