We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Now we should start the speculation on who's going to FX.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Donald Rumsfeld.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Anyway, he's got brilliant comic chops, and his good looks will probably prevent him from getting those kind of jobs. Look how it stunted Cary Grant's career!

Considering the actor's most prominent role to date was several years as the comedic Cuban photographer Luis on Suddenly Susan, I imagine comedic roles will be less difficult to get than dramatic ones. All he has to do is put on the fake accents, and he's golden.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now we should start the speculation on who's going to FX.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mock not the FX! Highlander, DS9, I like 'em.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I still miss Breakfast Time.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Wait, FX is showing DS9 re-runs? Cool. That and the ME shows make it pretty sweet for that alone.

And damn, I keep forgetting (or forgot - sure it's over for the season) to check out Dennis Leary's firefighter show.

IOW, I'm with ita on this.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think ita meant SpikeTV, which shows DS9 and Highlander.

Oh, fuck. Yes.

Sorry -- FX is where you go for The Shield, Nip/Tuck, and Rescue Me -- so it beats Spike TV hands down for original programming. As far as syndication goes, it has Buffy. So I'm not hating on them, not for a second.

Spike TV shows things other than CSI?
