eta: Oh yeah, I just remembered that my Focus has the optional "smoking package" which means it has an ashtray and lighter. So it's not standard.
My Lincoln had five "ash receivers" that light up when you open them.

Basically, Miramax wanted anyone but Bill Sadler for the role of the Dad. It was, like, the first day of shooting and they were still saying, "But can't we get anyone else?"
Crack. Heads.
There was tons o'drama in the 2nd Season. Including the horribly cheesy hospital scene that everyone hated and couldn't be reshot.
