The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

How does the west coast deal with games that starts at, like, 4pm PST? It's primetime for me; but do the local affiliates plan on what they'll air after the game ends, or is that a network decision?

Yeah, local affiliates out here just sort of run whatever they feel like running. For Fox, it's usually Simpsons and Malcom in the Middle reruns until it's time for the local news.

Just low blood sugar. Ate a Snickers. Thanks for coming.

> Fandom could skew female because men might keep a low profile because they are universally painted as fat, thirty year old virgins living with their parents.

> Hey! They are also painted as thin, pale ...thirty year old virgins living with their parents.

That's really funny. Check out the responses I got when I e-mailed some friends about going to the Motor City Buffy-con.

"Ummm... no. I grew up an moved out of my parents basement."

"Look at it this way, if we go we'll be the only ones who have actually had sex with someone else in the room."

These are people who came over to my apartment every Tuesday for 5 years to watch Buffy, but who now watch American Idol. I think I've lost them to the dark side.

For the record, I do not live with my parents.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I find it interesting that we were pointing out that that was the stereotype and we're still getting defensive declarations.

The status is NOT quo.

I know this is sappy and sentimental of me, but I just had to pop in here today since I delurked in here exactly a year ago today. That means it's also been exactly a year since the great Nilly Tour planning began.

Thanks for the ride, everyone.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Aww.

It feels like longer! In the good way.

I finished watching Wonderfalls last night, and while it ends fairly perfectly, I still wish I had more.

I still wish I had more

I'd wish until I was blue in the face, but I wouldn't look as good as Amy Acker in leather.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Just to add to the rumor mill:

When Adam Baldwin was asked yesterday at the Grand Slam Firelfy cocktail hour when The Inside would air:

"I don't know, maybe in April or May when Idol is finished."

That's all I got. He was very sweet and charming as was Alan Tudyk.

I fought the law and I won!

So, is Andy Partridge going to do The Inside's theme song or will it go without one like 24 and Lost?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, is Andy Partridge going to do The Inside's theme song

They should just reuse the one for WF. Maybe change a lyrics a bit, to add more references to murder....
