See but they brought in Manny Coto (created & wrote most of Odyssey 5, short-lived but IMO pretty good Showtime sci-fi effort) and I actually thought it got noticeably better. Of course, it couldn’t get much worse - and I never really watched it before - but the BF is really liking this season.

Hm. Hm. So, it's like if The Smoking Man, John McLean, Ellen Ripley, and that scene where Angel is all calm and cool and then SMOTHERS THE FUCK OUT OF WESLEY with a pillow were all baked in a Cooks Illustrator buttery flaky pie crust and topped with a dollop of that scene in the XFiles when Mulder pulls his gun in a state of panic on a duck, and says he still wants to shoot it.
But really, am not doing it justice.
I wonder if I'm very, very quiet and promise to be good if he'll let me watch them film some of it.
