I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

How about this? (Scroll down.)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aww. He's cute!

I need to watch a couple of the eps again. I kinda sorta got involved with something else while Totem Mole was on, and I may have dozed a bit during one of the others. So, it's a hard thing, but I guess I hafta.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Cranberry, I have that! He is standing next to my TV such that when I popped in the first DVD it looked like he was posing just like the one on the menu.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think I deserve a toaster. My daughter and I stayed up until 3 last night watching Wonderfalls. We got through Lovesick Ass. We'll probably finish them off tonight. She's on the Lee Pace bandwagon, too. And who wouldn't be?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've watched the first disk (first four 'sodes) and the commentary for the pilot (interesting, and the special thingy from the cast (fun). So far, these are all ones I'd already seen when they aired. I wish they had aired in this order. Pink Flamingos is my favorite so far. I didn't like Karma Chameleon or Wound-Up Penguin much at all; Bianca seemed like an actual scary crazy person, and I really disliked Jaye in Penguin.

Those who adore Wonderfalls feel about me the way I feel about people who don't like or don't get Firefly. What is wrong with you?!?

But I'm still going to watch the rest of them, because I really liked Flamingoes, and I already saw Lovesick Ass and loved it, so I know there is good yet to come.

Hey. New board.

Chamelen and Penguin are two of the weakest episodes in the series, I think. I like them both a lot, but if you liked flamingos than you're likely to like most of the rest of the series.

See, I really enjoyed both of them. Far, far more than Safety Canary or Totem Mole.

What is even happening?

Are the Wonderfalls episodes in a different or the wrong order on the DVDs? Scott just went to get them. We should really wait 'til next month, and pay cash, but I'm afraid they won't be around. I still don't have Angel S5, which troubles my inner completionist.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dude, "Karma Chameleon" is one of my favorites. I'll give you "Penguin."

Are the Wonderfalls episodes in a different or the wrong order on the DVDs?

They're a little different from what we'd been told earlier. The aired episodes are in a slightly different order (1,4,2,3), and "Barrel Bear," which was a floater, has an official slot now. Other than that, golden.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Finally watched all of the episodes. I think my favorites are "Crime Dog" and "Cocktail Bunny". They're both stylistic homages to a particular film genre--CD to film noir, and CB to De Palma-ish horror-thriller--but with a distinctive Wonderfalls stamp.

Crush object-wise, Tyron Leito is a cutie-pie, but I'm about Lee Pace all the way. Dude needs be on my TV/movie screen more often because... swoooon.
