I couldn't sleep last night, so I watched Serenity and The Train Job. Nodded off at the end, right around the part where Adam says it'll be "an interesting day" when the money is good enough to turn on Mal.
Which reminded me that it'll be an interesting day when Tim admits I'm right and he's wrong.
I'm so stoked about Firefly in Israel.
Allyson is with me! Yay!
You know how it's like, when you have a movie on tape, and still you can't not watch when it's on TV, even when you know you can put the tape inside the VCR at any given moment and watch it? That's like what I feel now, only without the actual showing of anything yet. It's the preview of that.
Firefly in Israel? What fantastic news!
Looks around for exclamation points to abuse.
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Found a few spare e's too. Let's hear it for the most prevalent vowel in the English language!!!

About what?
Did the Israeli subtitler understands that the definition of "Shiny" as used on Firefly was made up? Why not simply use the equivilent Hebrew word?

Yeeees. It's like, "Hey, it's on TV! I mean...I have the DVDs, and I could watch it without commercials and without my favorite lines having been edited out...but it's on TV!"
Yeah, when it's on TV, it's like... an event, that millions (or hundreds of thousands) are participating in....
Are they showing everything, including the 3 that didn't air in the US? And is it going to be in the correct order?
Also, I'm curious - how censorious (if that's a word) is Israeli TV?

Someone skimmed. Quoting Nilly above:
And, apparently, they'll show the episodes in order, and include the unaired-in-the-USA ones.
Allyson -- thanks for clearing that up! [insert winky-smiley here]
But! Here are all the shows it beat:
Tarzan, One Tree Hill, Half and Half, All of Us, The Parkers, Enterprise, Steve Harvey's Big Time, Superstar USA (Tuesday), High School Reunion, Superstar USA (Monday), One on One, Grounded for Life, Forever Eden (Friday), The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, All About the Andersons, Like Family, What I Like About You, Smallville: Beginnings, The Help, I'm Still Alive, Rock Me Baby, Jake 2.0, UPN's Movie Friday, Run of the House, The Mullets, Game Over.
What really torks me off is how much advertising I've seen for some of these shows, compared to almost nothing for Wonderfalls. Or any way, I didn't see much for WF. Grrr....
