Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You think I would have gotten a word in?

You held your own with Joss, who seems as blabby as can be.

Did you see the nice things Brian said about you in a recent interview? Talked about how much he learned about showrunning from you and breaking stories.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ah, that's too bad. But so great to have Katie Finneran on the show. I'm really enjoying her in the commentaries and featurettes; she sounds like a fun person.

Huh. I totally missed your use of the word "specificity," which Partyman, I think, was lauding.

But totally bummed you didn't do any commentary on the Wonderfalls discs. You weasel.

An inanimate weasel that talks?

You think I would have gotten a word in?

They are a talky bunch, aren't they.

"Don' be e-scared"

I missed that, David. Damn. I did see one where he recounted that I turned to him after our first meeting with Fox promotions and told him we'd get thirteen and no more. That was true. I hate being right.

Here it is. The site's a wee bit porny, so cover the beagles' eyes.

Yep. And you had to learn the hard way too.

Thing I like about your commentaries in particular is that you think and talk like a director more than a writer. Joss kind of flips back and forth though I kind of like it best when he's giving me the directorial POV. As much as we talk about your writing, I think both you and Joss are excellent directors. You both really harness the whole production to tell your story.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey there, Tim!

I hate being right.

Sigh. Yeah.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I hate being right.

This is so completely untrue.

Any word on when the show starts?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Good news on Katie being a regular!

Muffin Buffalo: During the scene at Jaye's "Big Day" lunch, after someone asks if Jaye and Aaron are high, the expression on Karen's face through the rest of the scene kills me. It's the same squinty faced "Let me see your eyes" look my mother would give us on occasion .

No word, Allyson.
