'Sleeper'

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Just low blood sugar. Ate a Snickers. Thanks for coming.

I can't believe you watched them straight through Smusheface. I want to go slowly and savor the episodes, stretching out the process as long as I can stand it.

I think that given how badly I've wanted to see the rest, it showed tremendous restraint on my part that I didn't watch them while I was actually at work (DVD drive on my Toughbook, earphones, cave-like cubicle), or just take the day off.

I just don't think I can go through that again. Anything I might love as much as I love WF evidently has approximately a snowball's chance in hell of making it to a full season, much less getting renewed. I probably will just wait for the DVD's and avoid the heartache from now on.

I'm watching Veronica Mars, and guess what - sucky ratings!! I bet if it was anybody but UPN it would have been gone already.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Allyson, I'm on AIM with G. What should I tell him about The Inside? Do you know when it starts?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hi Lee! I went to bed early last night so didnt see this.

I know nothing. Mr. Minear either fell off the planet, or is verra busy.

The status is NOT quo.

I watched right up to "Lovesick Ass" last night and then stopped because my eyes were going swimmy and I remembered hearing it was really good. I wanted my brain to be less fuzzy when I watched it.

I love that show with a stone passion. I can't believe that Charmed is about to have a 150th episode and WF got pulled after only four. It's just wrong.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Starting Lying Pig. I hate being on the last disc.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Ok, so Lying Pig just made me cry. There may not be actual corpses, but the Minear carnage continues. This is just cruel.

BTW- is this the right format for talking about these now, or should I take this to the other thread? I wasn't sure if there was a consensus yet. I'll remove this if people want.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You're doing it right.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Anyone know the song at the end of Cocktail Bunny?

(I'll shut up now, really. But I've got the day off and I'm just plowing through the whole thing.)
