I think you both make good arguments. Can't we just have it all?
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
This morning I finished Disc 1. That means, in just a few short minutes, after I fix myself a cup of tea and get into my jammies, I have NEW WONDERFALLS.
It was worth the wait. I'm digging being back in this world. I missed it.
OOOH! I remember there were some disagreements about the correct order of episodes - could somebody link or post the generally decided on correct order (and other orders dictated by powers that be) so we can compare to the DVD order in the box set?
oooooooooooooh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh .... decisions decisions
I have enough gift voucher credit to order Wonderfalls but I have a couple of other titles I want that aren't available in Oz.
oooooooooooh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh ... etc. etc.
Dammit, Hastings hadn't put out the Wonderfalls DVDs that theoretically arrived last night. And the clerk who told me they must still be in the back was perplexingly unable to call someone and have them bring a set to the sales counter. Apparently, either the storefront and the stockroom are at war, or there's an invisible canyon/moat/Burmese tiger trap perventing them from moving merchandise out to where the people that want to buy it are.
I would so be buying from their competitors tonight if I didn't have $30 of credit there.
Bought 'em on the way in to work. Watched 'em straight through when I got home. 10 to 3 in the morning, and I'm in a weird place emotionally. Happy and sad at the same time. Damn, that was so good it hurts all over again that it got cancelled. Can there be some more please? Fox sucks.

From my memories of working as a stockboy for a variety of department stores, this is not unlikely. The Burmese tiger thing, I mean. Some kind of managerial trip, meant to encourage employee fitness.
We lost more stock boys that way.
I want to string this writer up by his balls.
I just had that link IM'ed me, and like, wow.
I just woke up, so I'm not all amped on caffeine yet, else I may have just gotten myself banned from Whedonesque. Which would make me sad, because I likes me some Simon.
