'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Has Tyron Leitso vanished off the face of the globe? I haven't heard a murmur about what he's doing since early last year.
He wrote me a thank-you e-mail last week, but when I wrote back and asked if he was working on any new projects, he didn't respond. Perhaps that means "no." Hee.
I just posted details about three contests (for writing, art and campaigning) on SaveWonderfalls. I don't know if any of you are interested in entering, but they should be fun. I'm looking forward to reading the writing submissions, especially (though if some of the fanfic I've seen is any indication, I shouldn't expect brilliance).
The last I heard he was concentrating on rennovating a house up in Canada somewhere rather than doing the audition circuit, but that was months ago. I'd hoped dude would be getting more quirky romance roles in the near future based on his Wonderfalls work.
Though considering William Sadler's part in Kinsey that may be a pipe dream...
I adored Catch 22. But I do think it's the sort of book that benefits from being read at the right time in the reader's life. I also liked Wuthering Heights far more when I read it a year ago than when I read it as a teen-ager. As a teen I was trying to read it as a romance, lower-case "r", and kept running up against the fact that I thought most of the couples were deeply disfunctional, and not in any sort of fun way. The second time around I read it for PoV, narrative structure, etc. and I really enjoyed it.
My Wonderfalls dvds are "shipping soon!"
Mine are supposed to arrive Feb. 8 or 9. Hmmph.
Well, so are mine.
Oh, well then. I take back my pout.
Yes, it's best to conserve pouts for the really needful times.
I preordered my DVDs today. Yes, I am lame. I can't stand preordering things 59 months in advance and then I don't even get them when they come out because the dumbass "vendor" can't get their shit together. But I couldn't resist the cheapness, and I figured if I waited until right before release date I might get them sooner. (Forgot about shipping time, though - d'oh!)
