Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In the hayday of the British punk scene in the late '70s, there was a band called "The Fucks." For a while they had a group of female backup singers called "The Fuckettes."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't recall what the cheerleaders for the Memphis Mad Dogs football team were officially called, but everyone I know referred to them as "The Bitches."

It didn't help that they rode onto the field courtesy of bikers on Harleys.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

In the opening number of the Tonys last night, Hugh Jackman referred to his backup dancers as the "Jackettes."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Being a Cowboys cheerleader is a far cry from being a cowgirl.

What is even happening?

Being a Cowboys cheerleader is a far cry from being a cowgirl.

Is that cry, like a "Whoa, Nellie!" or a "Git along, little doggies," or "Vamoose," or "Don't fence me in," or what?

I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kari Matchett (Beth) is currently on Sci-Fi in Five Days to Midnight, and presumably will be all week. She's blonde.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I will grant that there are other good times on tv, including a few other eps of Firefly, and other Minearverse shows (such as a few Angel eps, and those Buffy eps that Tim did) but I have yet to find as good as OoG. I will admit that it is theoretically possible.

She's played opposite Hutton before, on Nero Wolfe.

Aaand then Tracie Thoms was in a FedEx commercial. This is getting freaky.
