Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

It's an amazing and fascinating cross-section of humanity!

I thought the line was "Americana." I don't know why.

Also, Tim, if you're still around, I wanted to say thank you for being such a great writer. I feel awkward writing this, but it was because of you and Joss Whedon that I decided to try screenwriting (well, that, and the fact that the opportunity easily presented itself, since I go to USC), and I really really enjoy it. And if you weren't so talented and inspiring, I probably wouldn't have bothered, and I'd have just stuck to straight fiction. I don't know if anything career-wise will ever come out of it, but it's fun, so I feel like I've already won. So, I just wanted to say thank you. Thanks for being great. And, you know, making me cry a lot by killing off some of my favorite people.

Tell again the tale of the sorcerer who could remove his limbs at will!
Heh. I think it's the fact that Angel picked that one as a good story to tell that really kills me. But I guess he knew his audience.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I remember liking "Happy Anniversary." It had cute physics chick in it, right?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yes, it did, DX. I remember liking it too, cause I thought stopping time was cool. And it also has one of my favorite quotes from the series, which is my One True Lorne Quote.

I didn't hate it so much on the re-watch either. It's not the best episode ever or anything, but it's okay.

Do we know when in March for TSFKAtI? Early March, I'll be at a conference I'm organizing in Barrow, and would probably miss it (feh!) but late March is my birthday (yeah!).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I didn't know until I read Herc's review that Richard Hatem (creator of Miracles) was writing for The Inside! With him, and Tim, and Jane, that's an potentially dangerous amount of writing talent! Can't wait.

And, that's two bits of news about Miracles in one day, when I'd given up hope of ever hearing about it again. According to tvshowsondvd.com, it's coming out on DVD in April. All 13 episodes, with commentary.

2005 is looking to be a good year.

Tim alone is a potentially dangerous amount of writing talent. Ask Doyle. And Merle. And Holland. And Darla...
