All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

That was colder maybe than intended. I just hate seeing you do so much free PR for her, and then go all out-of-pocket as well.

Nah, it wasn't cold. She's sending the sets to Bryan and getting him to autograph them and send them back, and then she'll send directly to the winners. I'm getting Bryan and Todd to send the autographed scripts directly to the winners, too -- no need for me to be a middleman; it just delays everything.

I should get a commission on the DVD sets sold. ;)

"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

ABC has two hit shows (no need to name them) that you should have had.

Had Fox gotten Lost, would have been buried on Fridays and gone in 5, maybe 6 eps.

Yeah, Desperate Housewives and Lost are doing so well because ABC gave them great timeslots and promoted the hell out of them. For DH they even put "everybody has a little dirty laundry" on dry cleaning bags for some grassroots marketing. All the promos they air accurately portray the shows, too. I hope FOX is taking lessons.

Aww. Just like Lynette's idea.

Someone remind me when Wonderfalls is out on DVD. I need to get it for someone before she gets it for herself.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Herc makes me sad since he was mean to COA that time, but he wrote some nice things about Tim's new series.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Other than that, it's about the triangle of Web, Rebecca and Paul -- Web and Paul both in existential battle for Rebecca's soul.”

Damn. That, in addition to even more gushing, leads me to be very excited for this show. Can't wait to check it out, and hope it lasts more than four episodes.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What episode does Herc think Tim wrote that has the MoG moving into W&H's LA Offices? Is he confusing it with the Hyperion?

Oh well, at least he didn't gush about Tim's writing for Buffy.
