The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ocipital, if you put a > mark before a quote, it indents the quoted paragraph so we know you are quoting.

US.IMDB credits Fury as writing the pilot for Ball and Chain in 2001, which im certain Howard Gordon wrote.

IIRC, Fury did a rewrite on the pilot.

I did, I also had a whole other paragraph that has disapeared. Doesnt matter now.

IIRC, Fury did a rewrite on the pilot.

Now that I didnt know, guess variety and the biz mags missed it but got the fact that Gordon was writing it, which US.IMDB missed. Whilst the buffy and Fury fans were doubtless more aware of Fury's involvement than Gordons, and it ended up on US.IMDB.

Question, would Fury have left Buffy for B&C, cos I really would have missed his Angel episodes. (Not much good left with Buffy after s5, imo, for any writer, save Joss and Goddard)

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Ocipital ... FYI, ImDb is a user updated site. Updates/corrections/deletions/new entries/etc have to be approved by the admin before appearing but they're mostly made by users. In other words, take some of what you read with a pinch of salt.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm certain Fury would have left for B & C, he would have been a showrunner.

Oh! Hi!

I'm home.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Welcome back, Allyson! We've missed you terribly. Promise you won't move back to Boston.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Does Ruby recognise you? Welcome home.

Ruby recognized me and has been stuck to me like glue since I got home. And she keeps telling me long stories of her adventures all alone during the week, but I don't really speak Kitty so it all sounds like "meeeoooow!"

Hm. I read Minear news somewhere...

Oh! At Whedonesque.

The status is NOT quo.

Tim Minear, of "Angel" fame, was hired to write a new template for the show after the first script was met unfavourably. (Minear isn't the only 'Buffy' link to the series : They're filming "The Inside" on all the old "Buffy" sets).

Aww. Now when people say he worked on Buffy he can say yes.
