The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

But I usually don't care about characters

Says the woman who used the phrase "poor sad Angel" countless times. ;-}

I must be living in a vacuum. I haven't even heard of House.

There's totally a joke about vacuums and houses to be made here. Someone make it.

But I didn't want him to not be sad. Obviously, I care about characters in the sense that I'm interested in what happens to them, but as a rule I'm not personally invested in their happiness, and don't need to like them or wish them well in order to enjoy a story. Some people do.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy Angel is for punks.

Well, and Angelus lovers.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You're a champion, Strega.

Handsome recapper, saved us from the anvils.

Happy Angel is for punks.
Happy Angel sang "Oh Jasmine." That's not very punk.

Although a punk rock version would have been funny. With Connor headbanging.

You're a champion, Strega.
Now you're just being mean.

I could head over to TWoP and you could smack me around and call it even. I'll be all: "Um, I totally think you're wrong"

And then, and then I'll sign my post.

It'll be all:

Allyson

And then you can be like, "You're fucking BANNED, asshole."

I want to ban someone. ita, can I ban someone? I never got to ban anyone before.

I should lay off the sugar, now.

Dear god. There's just NOTHING on teevee. I'm watching L&O SVU, the one with Michael Gross. Which is creepy because I saw him wearing stupid shorts in La Canada once, and I can't watch him without screaming, "YOU HAVE BONY KNEES" at my television.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a Buffy shoutout (I hear) on Gilmore Girls, and Veronica Mars is like Buffy except for the differences.

No, I got nothing more.
