Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Fox's January Lineup

I'll be holding my breath 'til March.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not scheduled til March. I'm thinking it will replace House, which should tank if there is a god. We will not discuss Friday at nine as a possibility. It's a new rule, I just made it up, and if anyone challenges my authority I WILL SMITE YOU WITH MEAN WORDS.

Can we start a pool for which show TI will replace?

I think it should replace Point Pleasant.

I'm putting money on House. It's terrible. It makes me feel violent. More violent than usual. The doctor is all, "I am smugger than Grissom" and I'm all, "come here so i can beat you with your cane, dickhead."

Unless they've really retooled Point Pleasant, the pilot for House knocks it way out of the park.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

But "House" is at Tuesday 9 pm, opposite the ratings juggernaut, "The Amazing Race". (And "Veronica Mars", which I adore with unreasonable passion. Also, "Scrubs".)

I suspect "Point Pleasant" will tank in that time slot (opposite "CSI") unless it's really, really good. But do you want to place Tim's show in that death slot? I don't know.

I skipped and skimmed like a madwoman. Do we have a name for Tim's show yet?
