But what if I found Silence of the Lambs too scary to watch more than once?
What 'Suela said! This is my worry too. It's Tim's show, so I will watch it, but I may be watching it at high noon with a blankie.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

High noon with blankie pulled up over one eye may be the way to get through it, probably. I'm so excited! Yay good teevee again!
Yay!

Wait. Tim's show is going to be Silence of the Lambs meets 21 Jump Street, on prime time broadcast tv? Have I got that right?
The watching doesn't bother me so much as the trying to get to sleep that night. In a dark room. Alone. With the closet door firmly closed and a chair pushed up against it.
Now, a Silence of the Lambs type show sounds a lot more interesting to me than 21 Jump Street. I never watched that the first time around. Even with teh pretty. And the only horror type movie that ever really freaked me was The Exorcist. I loved SotL and Hannibal. I still have Red Dragon to view yet. Soon, I think. I kinda forgot about it.
Forget 21 Jump Street. There is no 21 Jump Street.
There is no spoon.
This is not the 21 Jump Street you are looking for.
You mean Fox didn't like anything about the show except a couple of the actors, and they went ahead and green-lighted it anyway?
t Wanders around dazed.
Wha....? There it was on my TV. Just a second ago. What was I watching, anyway?
