We had dinner with my friend Dr. Ann the neurologist this weekend. She told a story about research up at UCSF on pain tolerance. The scientist determined beagles would be perfect for their study, so they paid umptyjillion dollars for special lab animal beagles. The crate arrived, the scientists all looked down into their crate full of beagle puppies and went, "Uh...Can we have a meeting. I don't think I can do a pain tolerance study on beagles and look myself in the mirror." All eight puppies wound up going home with the scientists.

Well, yeah.

Earlier today, P-C linked me back to my delurking here last March, which was really cool to reread. I realized I have met a lot of the people I first spoke to that night (including Nilly!), but I've never met Allyson, Kristen, shrift, Dana, ita, tommyrot, Plei or Kiba Rika--all people I got to talk to a lot that night and more since then. One of these years I hope I get to meet you all.

he totally did. however, i think that they are so clueless that they have no clue how to get into contact with you. be thankful. be very, very thankful.

there was drama there last night of the PBP kind. let's just say that the people who want to get this Lost "PBP" up and running are all people who tried to post on the bronze and didn't have what it took and they're very, very bitter.
