Ornery little critters too. My uncle's had at least two lhasa apsos in the last couple decades, and they're sweet and playful but stubborn as all get out. Fortunately, fluffy makes better.
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
My boss has one at the office- because he won't be left alone- 14 years old. Very bossy and stubborn. Also very sweet and made me feel better this morning.
She told a story about research up at UCSF on pain tolerance. The scientist determined beagles would be perfect for their study, so they paid umptyjillion dollars for special lab animal beagles. The crate arrived, the scientists all looked down into their crate full of beagle puppies and went, "Uh...Can we have a meeting. I don't think I can do a pain tolerance study on beagles and look myself in the mirror." All eight puppies wound up going home with the scientists.
I've heard that story before. In fact, maybe it was JZ who told it.
I grew up with a lhasa apso in the house. She was basically a cat, except for her fondness for dirty underwear, which she would drag down into the living room and leave on the floor for anyone to find.
Note to self: Stick with cats, instead of lhasa apsos, to avoid that embarrassing underwear thing. Beagles may still be ok.
I will NOT tell the story of my cat who happily brought a used..... to display to my visitors.
She had Never Ever shown any interest before.
Perhaps she was impersonating a dog?
Maybe... Her name was Fang.
There's a Wonderfalls DVD flyer enclosed in the Buffy S7 boxed set. Made me do the happy dance.
That's excellent!
