Hey, Val! How's Malaysia?
The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Malaysia's fine, thanks for asking Polter-Cow.
Weather wise, we're having quite heavy rain storms now as the monsoon season is in progress. Politics wise, we're starting to get concerned about two (so far) terrorist bombings in Southern Thailand as we do not want the violence to spill over and there are concerns that some of the bombers may try to cross the border into northern Malaysia. Sorry, was that TMI?
Anyway, I would also like to wish all Americans a safe and teror and controversy free election this Tuesday. Really, whatever you may say or think about American policy or government, it is truly a blessing that citizens have a chance to let their voices be heard. Honestly, from what I've read and seen about this election, there is no country in my part of the world (i.e. South East Asia) in which ordinary citizens can say or do the kind of things that have been done currently in the US election (e.g. Farenheit 9/11) without getting into serious trouble with the authorities.

If Bush ends up with a second term, that is likely to change.
Happy Birthday to the man who's killed everything.
Seems a fresh warrant for your arrest come up on the cortex. Had your birth date attached right to it.
Happy birthday, Tim. Maybe I'll go watch Out of Gas again, 'cause I can't get enough of that sweet stuff my little lady gets behind.
But whatever it is you're into now, I'm waiting for. Just so you know.
Oh, and, let's all go vote. For Kerry. Otherwise, don't vote. Stay home. Pray. But don't vote.
And, speaking as a New Yorker? All I can say is, I'm just glad New England got all this out of their system. Finally.
Catch you guys next year.
Just give me Tim. Give me Jane E. Next spring give me Jayne and Mal and the lights on Kaylee's door. Give me a good opening that leads to the second movie that Tim is a part of. But between now and then?
Give me something to watch and post about again!
Thanks, Tim.
This is a little bit late, but Happy Birthday, Tim. May the rest of the year be as great as the quality of your work.
(Where all values for "quality" fall under "amazingly fantastic and wonderfallsful.")
little bam bam!!!
Catch you guys next year.
No, next year will be the Cubbies year. Because folks said this year "Wait 'til next year." So, next year we win. I mean, the players ran the broadcasters out of town this year. That must have been the last piece of the puzzle. Now they can assemble all the pieces and build a World Series team. Or, you know, not.
Happy Bidet, Tim! Belatedly, and questionably spelled.
And, speaking as a New Yorker? All I can say is, I'm just glad New England got all this out of their system. Finally.little bam bam! I missed you during the ALCS (even when Boston was down three), and said as much, somewhere else. (I don't think it's out of our systems yet. It's just sinking in.)
I SO look forward to the end of the pretentious editorial natter about The Curse Of Being New England And Tortured. Maybe they can start complaining about The Curse Of Bad Movies instead.
On the other hand, I do look forward to reading Roger Angell on the series.
