[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Happy birthday, Tim!

May all your scythes be pointy.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy birthday, Tim! Thanks for all the pain.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Happy Birthday, Tim.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Happy Birthday, Tim! Hope your birthday present is a network completely onboard and behind your new project!

Tim is moving to ABC?

Many happy returns of the day, Tim. Now, back to the grindstone, and keep writing. We're waiting!

What? Like ABC doesn't have a long and illustrious history of cancelling good shows?

No, but they have good shows now, that they haven't cancelled yet. And it's not Fox or the WB.

ETA: and I don't have Showtime or HBO, so those aren't good options, IMHO.

Because they get good ratings. If FF had Lost's numbers, it'd still be on the air.

Hey. New board.

I heard about this show called Karen Sisco, that was supposed to be this excellent, smart, well-cast drama... whatever happened to that show? (moral: all networks are evil.)

Anyway, Happy Birthday Tim!

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, but it didn't have the numbers -- or what Kristen said.
