Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Um.

a state or atmosphere of harmony or mutual civility and respect

Since when has the other Donald been a buffista?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Presumptuous.

Actually, I've feeling a wee bit peckish...

Ok, I think I have brought about the very thing I sought to prevent.

I wonder if there is some kind of scroll about this...

I do not think I mean what you think I mean...

I hope I am not on a downward spiral of clarifications here. I'm going to stop soon. Really. It's getting dark down here.

I have peanuts and sit in the cheap seats. What else did you expect?

Just wrote. Didn't think.

I like my little Buffistas womb of witty/brilliant banter and insight. It's new and warm and welcoming. Saw storm clouds of partisan bickering.

I used to be really involved in politics at a young age and got burned out on the fighting... Now, I just try to stay copasetic.

It's like getting over shellshock and hearing an explosion. No biggie. The comment never deserved 10 follow up posts.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Sydney, don't stress. Talk about what to eat for lunch generates at least 10 follow-up posts. You're nowhere near the league record.

I think Wolfram's still got that sewn up.

Anytime you try to stop a discussion that may or may not happen based on your comfort level, it's not copasetic for everyone else interested in the discussion. Buffista debate gets heated and people say shitty things and apologize (and sometimes don't) and it happens and it's interesting.

It's better to move yourself on to a different thread, than to demand everyone conform to your comfort level.

Though you're welcome to discuss why you're uncomfortable with the discussion, or say you wish we wouldn't.

Actually, I've feeling a wee bit peckish...

It wasn't a discussion. It was a snide remark. You either laugh or it pisses you off or you don't care. I didn't laugh and I was concerned it might be followed by a serious of cheerleading. That would have pissed me off.

I never said anything was off limits. Not demanding anything. I just (gently) sniped at the consequences of the statement. I didn't want to get into an argument over it so I tried to disarm the situation. It was a strategic choice. I'll just ignore and move on next time.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So...how 'bout that Tim Minear?
