Wouldn't be harder for a teacher to not correct people?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
My mother knows nothing of Firefly. I brought the DVD to show her the ad on the extras, but she was so not interested, she could have fallen into a coma and kept picking on me for spending my time promoting rich people.
Actually, I'm really good about not correcting people (other than my students in class) when it comes to English. For some reason, I've never had that temptation--maybe because people are often already paranoid that I proofread their email and such, and I never want them to feel uncomfortable. After all, I make dumb writing errors all the time, and I would hate to constantly be corrected about them.
Outside of the classroom, I have a tougher time letting other types of errors go, like the whole Wheldon/Whedon thing. I'm really not sure why. I'm really working on it, though, because I know I'm a total hypocrite. I can't even get the simplest lyrics right in a song.

"Women do get weary / when they're stressed..." t /Bull Durham
And another thing -- nobody's got stress! They're wearing a dress!
(Hec, babe, you know better than to try to close the Bull Durham tag.)
Luckily my stepfather had watched a few episodes (same with Wonderfalls) before they found put about my obsession er I mean interest. So they were actually a pretty easy conversion.
Speaking of correcting--he said he they got wooly when they got stressed. Wooly.
Thank you, Robin. That's what I was going to say.
What was the line: "I hate it when people can't get the words right!"
"Women don't get woolly -- they get weary!"
