Hauser: You really think you can solve the problem? Come into Wolfram & Hart and make everything right? Turn night into glorious day? You pathetic little fairy. Angel: I'm not little.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Is there a Goldbergverse thread somewhere?

Prolly at NRO somewhere, in the vast right-wing fandom.

Our boy does some explaining about photographing vamps.

I guess that I'm a little slow. Can anyone explain why vamps shouldn't photograph? I can see them, so they must reflect light onto my retina. Why wouldn't they reflect light onto film?

Why wouldn't they reflect light onto film?

Well, they don't reflect into mirrors.

I think a better question is, does the photo have a reflection?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, they don't reflect into mirrors.

What does that have to do with being photographable, though?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well, they don't reflect into mirrors.

Photographic film is not a mirror. The only difficulty I can see in photographing a vampire would be if you were using a single lens reflex camera, or similar, which uses a mirror to get the image to the viewfinder so you can compose the shot. Once you push the button to take the picture, though, the mirror flips up out of the way, and the light coming through the lens goes directly to the film.

Ah, a lawyer with a scientific mind. Dangerous! This would resolve the competing theories.

I think a better question is, does the photo have a reflection?

Sounds like an experiment waiting to happen to me.

Then there's the whole pesky breathing thing.

Ah, a lawyer with a scientific mind.

Shhhh, not so loud. I do have a rep to protect.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I came across an old away message of mine. It went like this:

Watch Wonderfalls! For fuck's sake, do it before I punch you!
