Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I can't even.

I could get past the swearing no problem, but I'm having trouble getting past Lovejoy as the bad guy

Lovejoy is brilliant as the bad guy. He's the heart of the show (and being shown as a spectrum of bad). Which one is Timothy Olyphant? He's Seth Bullock, right? He's great. Not shockingly, I know very well who Molly Parker and Kim Dickens are.

You can tell it is an HBO show, even the secondary characters are top-drawer actors. Brad Dourif! William Sanderson! Ricky Jay! And that's not even mentioning Calamity Jane, who is the fuckin' bomb.

Punishingly Intricate

Timothy Olyphant is Seth Bullock. I was just reading on HBO's site how he got cable, started watching the Wire starring his buddy Dominic West, and called up his agent begging to be put up for anything HBO had to offer. Yay the Wire!

I think Brad Dourif's character is my favorite. I wonder what brought him to Deadwood.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Finally got Buffy S6, and watched OMWF with some friends last night. Bliss. They *weren't* Buffy fans, but if anything will convert, I imagine it's this. It's just so damn good. It must be because of Tim's work.

This is the best. typo. ever.

Beautiful.

He's one helluva choreographer.
