Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's 5-7-5, not 7-5-7.

Unless you've invented kuhais.

Don't harsh my mellow, P-C.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Where has Tim been? He must be seriously working on the screenplay.

Look at Allyson being all writer-procrastination person. Next thing, you'll be telling me you're eating cereal.

In happy news, I am told that Britney did not get married on this evening's VMAs. My heart remains intact.

I am writing about Munchausen by Internet. And the Penlind timeline has melted from my brain, so it's all jumbled. Was that four years ago?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oooh, Munchausen by Internet. Allyson, there should be an article out there somewhere about the syndrome by a woman named Jean Helms (I think). Maybe in the Atlanta Constitution?

She was/is a regular on the X-Files board "Haven For the FBI's Most Unwanted", where a really elaborate death-hoax was performed a few years back. "Evie Whiting" was the pseud of the woman who was said to have died, and a few months later Jean Helms got an article out of the whole thing.

The "death" and revelation of the fraud was a really fascinating community meltdown there for a while.

We had "Penlind" whose infant son was dying. But had no children, actually.

The hoax itself wasnt as interesting as the group of woman who were quietly investigating her claims at a private board, under lock and key, and uncovered her real name, similiar scams, and the reaction of the community who had rallied around her upon the discovery that none of it was true.

Fascinating! Just sayin'

I thought the OB was dysfunctional.
