Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. I think that needs to go in Nillytown, Cindy.

Um.

Not a natterer(?), so I'll wave at Nilly from this verse.

What is even happening?

Hee. I think that needs to go in Nillytown, Cindy.

I think Nilly would be too modest to do that. Let's get ita!

...

Dear Allyson, Tim, and all Buffistas,

I am just catching up in Natter, and reading Nilly's posts about last night. I am in tears. I am so touched/happy/thrilled/touched/(and did I mentioned touched?) by this whole affair.

Allyson, you rock >boulder >planet for thinking of this yummy treat—bringing Nilly here to see us, and Tim? Your extremely generous contribution made this dream a reality so much more quickly than it would have been otherwise. Your enthusiasm was contagious, and, well, I'll muzzle my inner fangurlie. Just...thank you. Thanks to all the other Buffistas who pitched in, organized, are hosting, and planning and generally enjoying the heck out of this whole thing, too.

Why am I thanking everyone? I am, because I think Nilly is the lesser recipient in this whole deal. What a thrill, treat, and blessing for all of us! It's just too much. And to know that everyone helping in getting erika & her mom out to L.A. this weekend is just icing on the cake.

I've dithered about saying anything, because this isn't about me, or any one of us, but...this whole thing is too beautiful to let it pass. I am so honored to know y'all, even if I only know most of you in the internet/faceless sense.

*mwah*

Love,
me

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I thought it was Tim who proposed bringing over our wee Israeli (and then Allyson who organized the WHOLE. DARN. THING.)

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Nilly's fan club is expanding.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

From that forum:

She won over so many Whedonverse fans (including Tim Minear) that they got together a fund so that Nilly could fly to the US and tour the country staying with other fans.

Errr....

t edit Oh, never mind. I read that as "Whedonesque" fans. My bad.

Jon,

I try real hard to not mention this site by name on the OB so that there isn't a crazy flood sucking bandwidth thingy.
