Reynolds, I'm a dangerous-minded man on a ship loaded with hurt. Now, why you got me chatting with your peons?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Canada!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Um.

VisionTV, a Canadian multi-faith and multicultural network, has picked up the entire first season of Wonderfalls, the critically acclaimed yet short-lived FOX drama, for its fall schedule.

Woo and a hoo! And that channel is part of the basic cable package in Toronto.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

Thanks for posting that, ita -- I put the info up at SaveWonderfalls.com.

Also, I know there are some Dead Like Me fans here -- the little promotional Gavin DeGraw/DLM music video they played and gave out on DVD at Comic-Con is now available online (search for "Gavin DeGraw" at a certain "supr" site). The video has some clips from seasons one and two and is pretty cute.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I'm growing to love Gavin DeGraw- has he had a song in a DLM ep and I missed it? (Chariot is on the DLM mix I'm making, so maybe I'm psychic. Rock.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

I don't think Gavin's had a song in the show yet; at Comic-Con they said something about how they recently heard about him and approached him to do the video. They'll probably include him this season.

I've liked him for a while, and I'm glad more people are discovering him now.

Another Yay for Vision TV (even if it is slightly unsettling that the Benny Hinn/7th Heaven channel is going to air WF).

Also there is a start date, I didn't see it mentioned here yet:

Wonderfalls – Mondays, starting Oct. 4, 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. ET

Jaye Tyler (Montreal's Caroline Dhavernas) is a young underachiever with a philosophy degree and a dead-end job at a Niagara Falls gift shop. Her life is headed nowhere, until inanimate objects begin speaking to her, offering cryptic messages that lead her into the lives of others in need. Is Jaye losing her mind – or getting guidance from a higher source? In its brief run on network television last spring, Wonderfalls won praise as one of the best new shows on the air. VisionTV presents the complete run of this delightfully quirky series, including nine never-before-aired episodes. [VisionTV Premiere]
