The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I was going to say:

It was more along the lines of "you've always had a gift for killing your characters, how hard was it not to kill anyone on Wonderfalls, and if the series had continued, who would've been the first to go?" Only she said it better than that.

Also a good question.

Then Tim posted and there was a cake discussion. Now I'll say instead:

Damn. I missed Tim and the cake discussion. I have got to get the internet working on my home computer. Is anyone out there a Linux guru who can magically let me know how to get the modem to work with Linspire or Knoppix? Or, alternatively, does anyone out there have any idea how I can magically get $50 more per month so that I can afford cable internet?

I can't even.

I just saw this as a .sig line on a list I'm on and felt the need to share:

The TV business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.
There's also a negative side.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Cutiehead Writer Boy

Strangely enough, right was my original choice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Please tell me you're talking baseball.

Please.

I was going to ask what else we could be talking about, but I think my unmagical heart is better off not knowing.
