[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The bastard who loudly huffed (with obvious impatience) "THE GGGUUUUUUUKKKEEE!", was, um, me.

Ha. Hey, did you get my e-mail with the filk?

Wait a sec, the Guke? I don't think exchanging one racial slur for another is the answer, Tim.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude. Tim is a bastard.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

quixotl, I don't know if FE will want to kiss you or me. Thanks.

Edited to bestow kisses upon the proper poster- and to say welcome and thanks.

"Don' be e-scared"

Polter-Cow, got it, sang it to myself, thanks.

The writing is going pretty well now, thanks for asking. Got a bitty push in the deadline. Hard book to translate. I read a bunch of it over the phone to Allyson. She had some very good from-the-gut comments. She said I was a So Cal version of Terry Gilliam. Which I think means this thing, which isn't quite done being written, is already over budget.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Shrift, I'm getting the urge to go to Burbank again. It's become a habit. The swallows return to Capistrano every year, and I fly to Burbank and drink too much and snark at the fangurls and bad vids.

Following one's urges is a good, wise thing to do. It might even end in people buying you scotch.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Dude. Tim is a bastard.

Totally untrue. His mom's a Minearketeer, and Kristen doesn't allow hussy moms in the club. There's an interview process, and Tim is totally legit.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The bastard who loudly huffed (with obvious impatience) "THE GGGUUUUUUUKKKEEE!", was, um, me.

Ha!

That is beautiful.

Awesome! Hoped you knew the tune.

Which I think means this thing, which isn't quite done being written, is already over budget.

Does this mean we'll just end up with Lost in La Luna ?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

She said I was a So Cal version of Terry Gilliam. Which I think means this thing, which isn't quite done being written, is already over budget.

On the plus side, bound to be wriggly in the brainpan and an instant cult classic...

Which, okay, isn't really much of a plus until they start writing books about you...
