The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Ms Havisham and I will be attending the COmicCon, Cran...
(there was a bit of trouble with it -- the studio wasn't happy that it was a paid event -- but I think it's worked out now).
Lesson learned. It's better to ask forgiveness than permission.
Check.
You'd think they'd like the publicity, especially with DVDs coming out in December.
Apparently now we're paying $10 to see an unreleased Macy Gray video, and we get to see two Wonderfalls episodes free of charge. This amuses me.

It's the unions. If they are charging admission to the public to see the eps, the unions want a cut. Or something.
That was the excuse I got, anyway.
When Amber Benson was selling Chance, you were getting a free copy of the movie by paying sixty bucks for a signed poster.
That was my final idea for showing at the WGA theatre. A $25 autographed something gets you free admission.
But then we all gave up and Tim went to the Moon.
Wonder how Tim is doing with his mooning?
Looks like Ellen Muth and Callum Blue from DLM are going to be at the San Diego ComicCon too. Wish I could go, sounds like it's going to be awesome.
I'm listening to Polyphonic Spree's "Have A Day / Celebratory" for the first time in ages. This song was used for the Wonderfalls ad campaign. It's making me all sad and stuff--a beautiful song that held out the promise of a brilliant show to come.
But on the bright side, the brilliance was recognized by some, and also: DVDs!
Damn, Ellen Muth and Callum Blue, Joss Whedon, and the Wonderfalls screening all in a row on the same day... that's so great. That's almost everything I wanted to see. And now I don't know if I can go!
What? What happened? I thought it was a lock! Damn.
Soon, I will be watching Dead Like Me. Thank you, Netflix.
