'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

let's just say that it sounded like all the adults in Charlie Brown were playing the roles of Jaye, Aaron, Mahandra, Eric, Heidi-Ho, etc.

Hm. I have a feeling I didn't actually get the good one. Ah well. I followed along in the script. Which had some very amusing lines that got cut, unfortunately.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

if you got the one that said (better audio), believe me, you did. the first one was awful. the only people you could really understand were Jaye, Heidi-Ho and Sharon because their voices tend to be higher pitched than anyone else. everyone else really did sound like the Charlie Brown adults.

the better audio one i can at least understand what they're saying. i may have to turn my speakers up all the way, but i can make out actual words.

Um.

The unaired pilot has made its way onto usenet - complete with "original" actors for Mahandra and Aaron. The latter of whom really doesn't fit.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

Oh, I should get that and check it out. I've only seen pictures of the old Aaron and Mahandra, and I didn't think either of them looked right for the part. Bryan said the original Mahandra was a great actress but too serious for the role.

Um.

Bryan said the original Mahandra was a great actress but too serious for the role.

I can see that. The sarcasm seems forced in comparison to Tracie Thoms. The lack of eye contact with Jaye doesn't help either.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, yes. I just watched Soldier's Girl. I adore, adore him.

Aaron didn't get a lot of exposure in the aired episodes, but after seeing most of the unaired ones, goddamn, I fucking love him. He's so dryly hilarious.

Eric: \"Heidi said I shouldn\'t open my mouth to strangers.\" Jaye: \"Ironic...\"

Aaron really is a great character. I've only gotten to see two of the unaired, but I loved the character in them. I did also see the original pilot that had a different actor playing the role and all I can say is, good move changing actors. I just couldn't see anyone playing Aaron as well as Lee Pace.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

"Dead Like Me" is better entertainment than we deserve.
