Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

'Get It Done'

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

it was repeating tonight for me, or that may have been the premiere again. I watched them both today. I only saw one ep last season, but with such yummies I added it to my DVR. I am not sure if I can keep watching it for a whole season. Usually I can't watch shows with such horrid charcters, no matter how pretty. But right now I am still intrigued.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Tonight was a rerun of the premiere. Friday night sounds like the lucky night for me. The only other repeat is Sunday, and I plan to be watching fireworks then. I'll just have to pray for cable.

I was fine when existence had no meaning. Meaninglessness in a universe that has no meaning -- that I get. But meaninglessness in a universe with meaning? What does that mean?

A bit of Wonderfalls news -- they're 99% sure the episodes on disc will be 16x9 widescreen. Also, looks like they're doing a screening at the San Diego Comic Con, probably going on after Joss Whedon. No decision on which episodes they'll be showing yet.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Thanks, Cranberry! I am going to try to make that comic con.

Widescreen? That kinda sucks, but that's better than nothing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Was it shot in widescreen? If so, it makes sense to release it that way.

I need a new tagline.. submissions are accepted.

How does a widescreen release effect people with 15 year old full screen TVs? (I am clueless in such matters)

They'll see a black bar at the top and at the bottom of the screen. The alternative is to crop the edges, losing some of the picture.

Oh that does not sound that bad at all.. as long as its the bars and not the croped edges.

tommyrot - A few months ago, Tim said:

Wonderfalls is meant to be seen full screen, with some exceptions. But let's just say full screen and leave it at that. It's not like Firefly where we meant for it to be 16x9 and they wouldn't let us. they wouldn't let us to point where there was no frame at all because we were all CANCELLED AND SHIT.
