Re: Nip/Tuck:
The attorney in me was screaming at Sean to pull his son out of there and get his own lawyer. If Sean even suspected that his son might have done it (which obviously he did), there's no chance of working out a deal with the D.A. if he's already admitted the deed in a deposition under oath. And Henry's attorney clearly does not represent Matt, nor did he pretend to be acting in Matt's best interests. Fortunately Matt lied, and now maybe he's got a shot.
I totally agree, Wolfram.
Of course for a
top-of-his-class surgeon, Sean acts really stupid a whole heck of lot.
There's no one bright on that show, although I think the anaesthetist has the best shot. And that word has way too many occurences of way too few vowels.
I love her, and I was so glad when they doubled her salary. That can't pay that woman enough for the crap she has to put up with, even in this past episode with
Sean dumping the blame on her. I totally understand the covering your ass for liability purposes, but did he have to pin it on the (vowel heavy) anaesthesia? Couldn't he have fudged something. Again, he's a moron.
I am trying not to read the whitefont. I wish I'd watched it before I went to bed.
I was just watching the Angel ep "Happy Anniversary" on TNT, and, for some reason, the demon-speak was subtitled in Spanish rather than English. WTF?
I suppose that's better than the syndicated version of the Buffy ep "Living Conditions," which went completely without subtitles during the climactic demon-speak argument.
Also, I gotta say I really like Spider Robinson, especially the Callahan books.
I bought Nip/Tuck season one on DVD recently, and it's now one of my favorite shows of all time. I've been a Ryan Murphy fan since "Popular," but this is way better. My biggest problem is aesthetic. John Hensley looks like a teenage version of how Michael Jackson currently looks. It's like he's part zombie or something.
Thankfully, how the other characters look has never been much of a consideration for me as long as Julian McMahon looks how he does and is willing to show ALL of it on TV.
But what if they know you know what they know?
This is beyond me. I know nothing.
as long as Julian McMahon looks how he does and is willing to show ALL of it on TV
right there with you, Matt. sadly, i always forget when Nip/Tuck is on and i've never seen a whole ep. i think i need to add the dvds to my Netflix queue.
